Joining us in February 2017, Megan has become a pivotal figure in the Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary team. With 14 years of equestrian experience, including a background as a competitive jumper, Megan expertly serves as our Barn Manager. Her role encompasses overseeing all barn activities and comprehensive care for our horses, mules, and donkeys, including any required physical rehabilitation.

Previously employed by Easterseals, a non-profit dedicated to serving individuals with physical and mental disabilities, Megan has seamlessly integrated her experience into our community. Her commitment to assisting people in navigating their daily challenges shines through her innovative use of horses as therapeutic aids.

As a riding instructor, Megan enjoys enriching lives through the transformative relationship with horses. She imparts essential knowledge about horses as companions and takes immense satisfaction from witnessing the profound bonds that form between horse and rider. Megan's expertise and passion greatly enhance our sanctuary's mission and the experiences of those who visit us.
