Junior Animals Advocacy Program
Overview
The Junior Animal Advocacy Group is an initiative designed for 13- to 17-year-olds who are passionate about animal welfare and interested in making a positive impact in the lives of farm animals. Through education, hands-on activities, and community engagement, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to care for, and advocate for the rights and well-being of these animals.
Objectives
Educate members on various topics related to farm animal welfare, including their rights, living conditions, and humane practices in agriculture.
Promote compassion and ethical treatment of all animals through discussions, workshops, and guest speakers.
Facilitate a supportive environment for members to share ideas, experiences, and creative projects focused on animal advocacy.
Activities
Workshops: Regular sessions covering topics such as animal behavior, humane care practices, and education around advocacy in our daily lives.
Community Outreach: Organizing events to raise awareness about farm animal issues, including informational booths, fundraising activities, and educational presentations.
Discussion Groups: Open forums for members to discuss current events and issues related to farm animals, fostering critical thinking and advocacy skills.
Creative Projects: Opportunities to engage in art, writing, and digital media projects that promote awareness and advocacy for farm animals.
Join us in making a difference for farm animals and becoming a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Together, we can foster compassion and promote change in our communities.
