They have a home.
Help us keep it that way.
Our lease is ending. By February 2027, more than 350 rescued animals need a permanent home.
Our lease is ending.
Our mission isn’t.
Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary has been a safe haven for rescued farm animals since 2017. We've saved more than 5,000 animals and created a place where children, families, volunteers, veterans, and people of all abilities can experience compassion in action.
Now, our current lease will not be renewed.
We have an opportunity to secure a permanent home — but we need our community's help to stay local. With the rising cost of land in Northern Virginia, we currently cannot afford to stay close to our community without help.
We are launching a $900,000 capital campaign to stay within the Northern Virginia area.
How We’re Going to Accomplish It
A Permanent Sanctuary means:
Stability
No more uncertainty about where the animals will liveMore Lives Saved
Additional acreage creates the opportunity to rescue more animals
More Community Impact
More educational programs, events and volunteer opportunities
Greater Accessibility
Creating more opportunities for veterans, special needs groups and community organizations
A Stronger Volunteer Community
Remaining close to the volunteers who make this sanctuary possible
We are a forever home to more than just our animals
Our Programs That Are At Risk
They don’t know our lease is ending.
They don't know about property values or fundraising goals.
They simply know this is home.
Help us make sure they always have one.
A permanent sanctuary means more than a piece of land.
It means a place where we can continue rescuing animals, expand educational programs, welcome more volunteers and visitors, and create meaningful experiences for our community for generations to come.
