Our Junior Caretaker experience gives children ages 6-12 the chance to help us (with a lot of supervision) feed animals, groom animals, and learn husbandry and general chores.

The price is $30 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Parents may drop their children off or stay to observe their experience.

What do you need to do to get started?

1. Complete an initial tour of the sanctuary.

2. Once you’ve taken our tour, please schedule your junior volunteer time below.

3. Be willing to work and get dirty. And get paid in animal snuggles.

4. Please bring your own lunch, hat, sunscreen, and water with you. For hot days, bring a bathing suit, towel, and water shoes (but not flip flops).
